About IPScameras

An independent fraud intelligence platform that turns public scam reports, security news and explainer videos into searchable guides, country statistics and free checking tools.

What IPScameras is

IPScameras is an independent fraud intelligence platform. We collect publicly available scam reports, security news and educational videos, classify them by scam type and country, and publish the results as searchable guides, country statistics and free checking tools.

The goal is simple: when someone receives a suspicious message, job offer, investment pitch or “recovery” promise, they should be able to find real, recent reports of the same scheme within a minute.

What IPScameras is not

Who is behind it

IPScameras is built and maintained by Dmitrii Dmitriev, an independent developer and digital analyst with more than 20 years in the field. He began as a full-stack developer, founded and ran a digital marketing agency serving 247+ clients, and has spent years working hands-on with large datasets, search and web analytics — the same skills this platform runs on. The project started in 2026 as an open dataset of scam reports and grew into the platform you see today.

We are a small project and we are looking for people who want to help: researchers, translators, security specialists and a legal adviser. If that is you, see Contribute & collaborate.

How it is funded

IPScameras is self-funded. We do not sell user data, we do not run affiliate links to “recovery services”, and we do not accept payment for placing or removing reports. A paid API for businesses is available via our B2B API; the public site stays free.
